Viva is a fun place. So, in the interest of fun, I will write my review using only the suggested text options in my phone. However, I promise that everything I write will still be sincere. *Ahem*

This is a fun and cool place with very very very nice things for you. You can get a food and a drink and and whatever ok? There are people here who would do anything you want. but wait listen you need to read that last part without too much not ok. This is a good place for you to buy with money and then go somewhere else but wait come back. come back here spend more money. I love you. Wait. No not you I love you. Wait. No. I love the place that I had already spoken with you about. I love to use money here for what to eat and do. Do this place with me and we will love forever.

First time here and I thought this place was okay.

Food: I got the super platter, which comes with 4 soft taco skins, guac, salsa, rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not a big fan of tacos, but the taste wasn't anything amazing. It was sort of bland and I should've used some of the hot sauces to add more flavor.

Service: It was okay. Wait time was relatively long. Besides that, there was not much interaction as we ordered the food, waited to be called, grabbed the food, and sat down.

Price: I would say for the super platter, it's not worth the $8.50. However, I'm also not surprised that it's priced this much. Portion size was okay.

Ambiance: Inside is somewhat nice in terms of decoration. The seating area is somewhat small and lacking.

Would I come back? Maybe, but there are probably better options out there. For a first time? Sure, give it a try if you're a vegetarian. There are definitely a good amount of options for you. They can also make things vegan was well, so in terms of accommodating to specific diets, they are pretty good.

I was trying to give 2 1/2 stars, but couldn't figure out the 1/2, so I rounded up, but at best, they were average. I had a taco  craving and chose this place over Bickering Twins (which had a higher Yelp rating) at the recommendation of the front desk clerk at the Statler Hotel.

There was a moderate level of hospitality. It wasn't bad, but there wasn't anything good about it, other then it wasn't bad.

The food was ok as well. One could eat it with little trouble, but I only kept eating it because I was hungry. The rice, chicken and chorizo were quite bland. I think the only way to make chorizo bland is to wash it after cooking.  The beef had so much oil on it, you couldn't taste anything but the oil. The best flavor came from scraping the beef off the hard taco shell and eating that.

Next time I'm in town and craving tacos, I'll try the other place.

Bona fides...2 years of culinary training with the only gold medal  and over 15 years in the hospitality business.

So delicious! My family came to visit and we decided on Mexican. So glad we ate at viva! We all loved our meals. I would say that the apps aren't very big. That was our only issue. Definitely a yummy place and we loved looking at all of the decor! The masks are so cool!

I'll start by saying that I like how this place is decorated. The other thing that I really liked was the multiple options in the menu that also included vegan and vegetarian.

I went there on a Friday evening and it was packed but the waiting wasn't long for a party of five.

We tried out the nachos and they were superb. However, the food that I ordered (cantina platter and house margarita) was lacking in seasoning/spirits.

Since I liked how some of the plates from my friends looked, I hope to try something different on my next visit.
